What is HomeSpun Art Co-op?
The HomeSpun Art Co-op is an on-line community of men and women whose passion is to work with clay, paint, wood, glass, metal, fiber and imagination to create amazing artwork. Everyone is welcome to join the HomeSpun Art Co-op. All arts and crafts submitted must be your own design or creation and hand-crafted or custom made.

What is HomeSpun On-line Art Show?
The HomeSpun On-line Art Show promotes the arts and crafts of the HomeSpun Art Co-op to help the artisans generate supplemental sales on the world wide web. How do you sell your artwork?
HomeSpun Art Co-op brings Traffic to the On-line Art Show 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year through internet search engines, on-line advertising and print campaigns.
Our Personal Shopper searches the art show by keywords, medium, artist and price point then displays artwork matching the customers' search. Clicking on the artwork provides complete art information, artist profiles and purchasing details.
Our site utilizes a Web Shopping Cart to keep track of all purchases. Once orders are placed, HomeSpun invoices the customers and contacts the artisan for shipping and handling of the order.
Customers can pay on-line through our Secured Server. New encryption technology makes credit card purchases safe, easy and convenient. Shoppers can use Mastercard, Visa or mail payment. HomeSpun Art Co-op handles the e-commerce for every sale. Customers can pay by credit card on our secured internet server or mail payment to HomeSpun Art Co-op. We process payment, generate an invoice, generate a packing slip and notify the Artist of a sale. Artists handle their own shipping and handling to the customer.
How much does it cost to sign up?
HomeSpun Art Co-op Charges an initial one time set-up fee of $10.00 per item to convert text, scan artwork to computer image, and include item in the HomeSpun database. Exhibiting with the HomeSpun On-line Art Show is FREE. Artists are charged only when their work is sold.
The artists' Monthly Sales Report provides a detailed summary of each month's sales through the HomeSpun On-line Art Show. The artist's monthly paycheck reflects art show sales less a 20% Co-op sales commission, 5% Co-op Advertising allowance and 2.5% credit card transaction fee.
Artists' individual Co-op Advertising allowance supports the Art Co-op's collective marketing opportunities.
How do I submit my art?
It is as Easy as 1-2-3.
Submit one product sheet per photo (printable product sheets can be found here. Photos may be submitted on 35mm print film or as digital images, NO SLIDES PLEASE.
Submitted photos must be clear high quality images to ensure better density, color balance and product representation. Digital photos can not exceed 256 x 256 pixels and must be sent on disk. Soon, we will make available electronic file transfer.

Send photo, "Art Info" & $10.00 set-up fee to HomeSpun.
The set-up fee of $10.00 per item covers initial costs to convert text, scan to computer image, and include item in HomeSpun database.

How long does it take for my art to appear in the HomeSpun On-line Art show?
We do our best to add your work to the HomeSpun Art Co-op database and exhibit your arts and crafts in the HomeSpun Online art show within 5 to 10 business days of submission.
Can I get photos of my work back?
Sure. When you mail us your artwork photos and art information form just include a self-addressed stamped envelope. We will return the photos once we scan your artwork and set up the item in the HomeSpun Art Co-op database.
What should I write as my artwork's "Artist Statement"?
The Artist statement is a great way for you to "talk" to a perspective buyer as if they were walking up to your booth at a show. Share with your customers what inspired your creation, techniques used or perhaps ideas for use.
What happens if I sell my "one-of-a-kind" piece outside of the HomeSpun Online art show?
Please contact HomeSpun Art Co-op as soon as the sale becomes eminent. We will add an "UNDER CONTRACT" notice on listing in the HomeSpun database. When the sale is finalized simply let us know and we will place a "SOLD" sign on your artwork. You can continue to display the SOLD artwork or have the sold work removed from the database. Sold Artwork provides galleries, dealers and your fans with an on-line portfolio of your artwork.

Creating artwork is a passion...marketing your artwork can be overwhelming! HomeSpun Co-op advertising brings Traffic to the On-line Art Show 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year through internet search engines, on-line advertising and print campaigns.
HomeSpun Art Co-op artisans contribute 5% of their art and craft sales from the HomeSpun On-line Art Show. Artists individual Co-op Advertising allowances support the Art Co-op's collective marketing opportunities.
